about me…

When I’m not working on a film or television show, I can be found in my little metal shop. Attempting to fabricate and over engineer simple items.

I’m learning multiple CAD programs. As a Mac person it has proven to be difficult.

My programs are:
AutoDesk Fusion360 (general cad)
and
Shapr3D (3d printing)

If anyone has recommendations on a class for 3Dexperience SolidWorks please let me know. It’s been a challenge for me to figure it out.

What to look out for:
I’ll be adding a few projects pertaining to my furniture builds, accessories/solutions needed for the restorations of my 1980 Jeep CJ-5 & 1983 Land Rover OneTen (*Defender for the everyman)

And any other goofiness That my overcooked brain comes up with in the interim.

    Hey, welcome!
I’ve always been fascinated by the work that goes on behind TV and film.

For CAD on macOS, I’d definitely recommend sticking with Fusion360, it’s one of the most complete CAD solutions available on Mac. It covers sheet metal, metal structures, 3D printing, and even CNC machining all in one place.

As for 3DExperience SolidWorks, it really depends on what you plan to do with it, but I’ve found the tutorials on the official SolidWorks YouTube channel to be a great starting point.

And please feel free to share your projects or ideas here, we’re all excited to see them! Personally, I’m especially looking forward to your Land Rover build.
