Our Founder, John P., has been an outspoken advocate of the free exchange of ideas and information since the founding of the Web. For those who didn’t know, he helped architect the HTML and CSS specifications, and his website HTMLHelp.com was inducted into the W3C’s hall of fame for those contributions.
So we really truly want to build a world class community here, and we hope for the revenues generated from the sale of projects to fund the discussion boards AD FREE FOREVER!!!
We do have a few rules, but we also have some special benefits for participants who really want to be part of something amazing!

Consequences for Rule Violations We aim to maintain a fair and friendly environment. Violating these rules may result in content removal, warnings, temporary bans, or permanent account suspension, depending on the severity of the violation.
The Benefits
We want to truly encourage everyone to treat the WeldProjects discussion forums as a permanent resource where we can all make friends, encourage experimentation, brainstorm, and generally make the world a better place! And we’re offering benefits to those who invest their time and knowledge to help others and build an incredible community.
- Our system will keep track of participation, and reward those who contribute with additional status.
- Forum moderators will be picked from among those who demonstrate knowledge, expertise, and helpfulness.
- Members will be able to “thank” one another, and those thanks will be tracked.
There will be real monetary incentives in the form of discounts and credits awarded to participants! For example, we will set permanent discounts for moderators, as well as senior contributors who help others.
For those who document their builds and help others on the forums we will invite them to assist with product development, including sending prototype kits at no charge in exchange for guidance and feedback to make the kits better.
The WeldProjects.com community will be exactly as valuable as the effort we all put into it! So let’s make this a truly world class repository for people from all walks of life, and all experience levels, who love the rewards that come with taking on a challenge and creating something truly wonderful and unique!
