No. We accept hand sketches with dimensions, napkin drawings, photos of existing builds, or rough 3D models. Our engineering team creates all production files from your concept.
You retain ownership of your original concept. You grant WeldProjects a license to manufacture and sell kits based on your design. You choose exclusive or non-exclusive licensing when you submit.
Initial review typically happens within a week. The full process from submission to live product depends on complexity, but most designs go live within 4-8 weeks.
Yes. Once approved as a designer, you can submit as many designs as you want. Each submission is reviewed individually.
We currently manufacture kits in mild steel (A36, A572-50), stainless steel (304, 316), and aluminum (5052). If your design requires something else, note it in your submission and we will evaluate.
